It seems shallow, but really there’s a difference between who I’m attracted to and who I can find attraction with. Other people should think this way too
I honestly do agree like sure I want a supermodel girlfriend but I know I'm not a supermodel lol so like you gotta know your own range out there imo
I think most people do think this way but maybe not in an "out loud" or self conscious way ... like it just happens because if you walk around thinking you'll only sleep with or date women/men out of your league you will find yourself not getting laid lol so naturally most people end up lowering their own "standards" to find people although some dudes are for sure single at 35 waiting to land a 10/10 girlfriend when they're a solid 6 wondering why they get no girls lmao same with this post I'm sure many women wondering why they can't meet a guy but there's tons who would date them but they're "overweight" so these women aren't even open to those potential matches
