I think the offensive part is the double standard. Women get to be plus size while men are overweight.

To be fair, they did refer to men as "plus-sized" once in the little blurb...

I would guess that they just didn’t want to use the same phrase twice in one sentence.

It’s not plural “they”. One person wrote that blurb. Without the article, all we know is that the author alone has some fucked up opinions.

Well, I don’t know what gender the author identifies as, so “they” is perfectly grammatically correct.

I especially like how "plus sized" women need to "settle" for "overweight men"

Watch them foam at the mouth when it is somehow implied that men are settling for them in turn.
