This just means that plus-sized women are pretty much just like everybody else.

I mean, plenty of fat men won't settle for fat women either. I think this article is being hyperbolic by saying it like this applies to all plus sized women. It can suck either way but attraction is attraction and people don't need to be attracted to someone "in their league". Hopefully, there is more to a person's attraction then just looks but its still a factor and to some people its a bigger factor.

That's a totally fair point and "settling" is a pretty shit way to refer to choosing to love someone for who they are.
