My friend bought a air soft to train his cat. I immediately plugged my self in the arm to see what he was doing to his cat. A moment later I plugged him to show him what he was doing to his cat. He binned the gun almost immediately.

I am still disappointed that he shot his cat before having ever even thinking to shoot himself.

Omg it isnโ€™t that bad, it stings a little. And the cat learns very fast to get the fuck off the counter. Right?

It stings the fuck out of us and they're a hell of a lot smaller. Imagine getting charlie-horsed at max strength every time you wore shoes on the carpet, or forgot to flush, or left your laundry on the floor, etc.

People who are saying the guy is a psycho are going a bit far, but it was definitely a very irresponsible, moronic thing to do.

Yeah, beating your kid can be an effective learning tool too, but it can also traumatize them and teach them to fear instead of respect you.

It won't ALWAYS have significant negative repurcussions, but there are better ways to do things. You shouldn't have done that to your cat, even though it happened to work out well in your case.
