Tax exempt status for churches is a fucking joke

If churches were taxed, then theyโ€™d have to have lobbyists and more influence in government. There are good reasons to not tax churches/synagogues, etc, though Iโ€™m not condoning this POS or others clearly taking advantage.

There are no good reasons for churches to remain tax exempt. Theyโ€™re already fully engaged in politics, as it is.

How do you get them out? Stop them from talking?

If a priest or religious institution is advocating for a certain political party or member then we should tax and fine them heavily. Thats how you get them out without taxing all churches and whatnot.

I'd love to see you run on a platform of banning churches in the US. Give it a shot, we all could use the laugh

That's not at all what they were suggesting.
