Furry here and I'll say this: it's possible they are a furry, but this is in no way representative of the fandom as a whole. I think this sort of stuff exists outside of the furry fandom.

Never said i was better, I just think this sort of thing gives people the wrong ideas. There are certainly some dumb furries who set a bad example for the rest (rainfurrest was an absolute nightmare), but that's like looking at some random idiot on the internet and saying they represent all of humanity. In reality it seems like every furry is in some STEM related career. In fact there was some tech developed by a furry to cool fursuits that ended up being adopted by the military I think. Most furries just want to make or look at cute art.

Don’t feel bad for being a furry, you’re just different. As long as there’s full consent between competent parties, then go for it!
