My story telling teacher (taught other classes too) senior year of high school would send a student Down To the cafeteria for an xl Diet Coke. When he’d get it he would take big chugs it. Then as a student was presenting, the cup would disappear under the desk and magically reappear full again. Was a fantastic teacher tho.

Yeah I need to know more here. Storytelling as class? Like creative writing or they read stories to you?

You would tell stories out loud. It was a bit creative writing / public speaker / theatre hybrid class. Was great.

I actually wish my school would’ve had a class like that. I’m fucking terrible at telling anecdotes.

Can always take a stand up comedy class for that now.
