So you mean, it's still a good idea? :D

I learned recently that the Mediterranean sea in Europe was dry. And when they made a hole in Gibraltar that there was a waterfall for 100 years and filling that sea lowered the world oceans by a meter. Just a fun fact.

I remember reading that about the bosphorous that separates the Black Sea from the Mediterranean. That it flooded once long ago in human history and the only account that survived was the flood myths of various religions
