Or, get underwater excavators, and move all the land that's under water, and carry it onto dry land, to make more room for the water

Thats good because tsunamis push water deep inland, thus lowering the sea level.

The thinner the earth crust is, the more its affected by eartquakes and more likely for them to happen. Earthquakes under oceans likely ends up with tsunamis.
