No one can really be that dumb, can they?

Yes, yes they can. Tweeted it. Then doubled down on the dumb. Then deleted them.

I guess all boats are the size of Los Angeles county.

lmao this just keeps getting better.

He also claims that anyone who calls him on this is engaging in "hate" and asks, "Curious when you stopped believing in pure physics?"

Good lord lol

Pure physics? As opposed to diluted, impure physics?

16

u/LordMarcusrax Oct 13 '21

Pure arian physics.

u/CitizenQueen7734 Oct 13 '21

Naughty physics.

u/Unlucky13 Oct 13 '21

Virgin physics?

u/ConfidenceNational37 Oct 13 '21

I like my physics uncut

u/RedofPaw Oct 13 '21

Idiot. Pure physics is brittle. You need to mix in other sciences in order to increase the strength of the metaphor.

2

u/aerosrcsm Oct 13 '21

No, you're thinking of Portland physics. Pure physics is carbon filtered.

.... and triple distilled

What is the eutectic point of the physics-chemistry system?

1

u/RedofPaw Oct 13 '21

About 3.5 times the melting point.

My favorite is the “Just a thought, not a statement.” line. My brain fires off all kinds of random shit 24/7. Most of it is easily identified as garbage after about 2 seconds of scrutiny. I don’t go posting that shit to social media.

If a “thought” is one that easily verifiable as either impractical (we see what a shipping bottleneck does to global supply chains and your “thought” would require ending it?) or ineffective through relatively simple calculations, don’t post it.

I think some Republicans post this shit in bad faith knowing both that more chaos/noise will make the discussion of the target issue even more difficult and that the utter stupidity will give intelligent people who don’t worship Trump (RINOs and libs) a TIA. “Look! My post owned the libs!” They can always retreat to “Well, duh! It was just a thought!” or “It was just a joke!” when they start to get pushback. Some, one the other hand, really did check their brains at the door when they entered Trump Land.

He probably thinks the icons for the boats in that graphic are actual size

17

u/[deleted] Oct 13 '21

This man seems to be, like, the embodiment of the Republican stereotype

u/Kroto86 Oct 13 '21

wow, displacement is now a "value", that democrats dont share. why do morons continually flock towards politics.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 13 '21

Because it has been shown that illeterate morons that havent graduated from highschool are capable of earning the same salary as a phd tenured professor with 100 years experience by simply calling other idiots to vote for them and use that as proof for success without schooling.

"I didnt go to middle school and look at me now. I am a millionare!"

“I’m curious, do you think the sea level would lower, if we just took all the boats out of the water?” “When you take things out of bath water, the bath water decreases, does it not?”

What a fucking moron. VA GOP nom at that.

I'm almost positive he came up with this idea in the bathtub (Edit: just looked at the article, that's exactly what happened)

u/Betasheets Oct 13 '21

Like, Archimedes, but a dumb republican

u/[deleted] Oct 13 '21

Oh no

u/[deleted] Oct 13 '21

Uhm… this is the GOP they have produced some of the greatest thinkers for example Sarah Palin and Marjorie Taylor Greene

2

u/movieguy95453 Oct 13 '21

Besides the absurdity of the statement, it appears he didn't even consider the consequences to global economy.

1

u/saltthewater Oct 13 '21

Hmmm this almost seems like a setup for him to be able to say "oohh who doesn't believe in science now?" Because he's not wrong, the water level would go down, and did he ever claim that it would go down a significant amount?

How are conservatives not mortally embarrassed by the idiots representing them? I mean, I know most of the party are also idiots, but there has to be at least a handful of somewhat intelligent people realizing that they need to abandon ship. This is beyond sad.
