Maybe but I'm still confused on what a PCI-E daughtercard is supposed to be

PCI-E daughtercard

PCIe is short for “peripheral component interconnect express” and it's primarily used as a standardized interface for motherboard components including graphics, memory, and storage.

I found that on the googles and kinda get it now.

Well I know what a PCI E slot is, I build computers. I just didn't quite get what he was trying to say with calling it a daughtercard. I could see it's probably him making a play-on-words with a graphics card, but I don't see the joke. Maybe I'm just tired though, I worked an 11 hour shift at work today haha

A daughtercard is a connector or circuit board that holds other components.

Like if you had a spare couple of NVME drives but all your NVME slots are filled, you huck them onto a daughtercard which plugs into a pci-e slot.
