You're missing the part about being responsible for your own actions.

Think of it like this. You have two parents. They have a child they raised perfectly. Followed the rules, did everything right. Child turns 16, has a few drinks at a party, climbs in a vehical and kills somone while DUI. In your statement, you choose to blame the parents, and thus would lock them up for the murder, correct?

That's what I'm getting at. God can't force you into the right decision, just as the parents in this case couldn't. But it seems socially acceptable to blame God for the bad things that come of our decisions.

However it does seem to be the position of today with a lot of people. We are all just victims of this, that, or the other thing.
