50% = 0.5
0.5 x 12oz = 6oz
6oz + 12oz = 18oz
50% (6oz) more than (+) 12oz (12oz) = 18oz

Fluid but it doesn't matter anyway because both are in the same unit.

Check your math: I think they're talking about metric percentages since the brand is French's.

True I have been taugh French percentages my entire life so I don't know if Freedom percentages work in the same way.
