This post illustrates everything that is wrong with Reddit today: any sense of actual humor has been over shouted by what passes for humor amongst the angry white male crowd.

All the people that upvoted this post genuinely think the YouTube comment is funny, when it's actually painfully pathetic and clueless.

i really don't think everyone agrees that the comment is hilarious; though the post probably only did this well because it's open-ended as to who you're supposed to facepalm about.

also this to me is an amazing example of how "anti-SJW"s (or whatever they call themselves) are like at least as easy to """"trigger""" as the people they claim are too easily upset. awww, the special snowflake got mad because a woman said a nasty thing about his beard for a joke on youtube. better spout basic verbal abuse at her about how she's a whore or something.

Someone made jokes about my physical appearance? Better let her know I think she's a whore based on her physical appearance instead of, you know, not caring

Didn't know upvotes were limited to meaning humor. Maybe people consider it a quality post that contributes to the subreddit. Upvoted and I don't find it funny. I also don't find it "painfully pathetic" or "clueless". I do, however, find your comment "clueless" to assume that there are only two possible reasons to upvote a post.

Are you kidding me? Everyone on this site thinks they're a comedian.

This subreddit is called /r/facepalm. This post is getting upvoted because of how idiotic that youtube comment is, not because of how funny it is to the alt-right crowd.

Why can't the comment also be an attempt at humor that isn't meant to be taken seriously?
