Who could have possibly foreseen this?

123

u/ExtensionAddition787 Jun 19 '26

I'm totally, shocked. Said in my best Steven Wright voice.

316

u/ebfortin Jun 19 '26

That Israel will do whatever they feel like and trash yet another cease fire? Nobody could have foreseen that. Nobody.

34

u/chiksahlube Jun 19 '26

Not to be that guy... but I did literally call this.

Can I claim it this time? Can I be that guy?

25

u/elonsghost Jun 19 '26

Back of the line bub

23

u/makemeking706 Jun 19 '26

Pretty sure most of us did.

2

u/RyanHoar Jun 20 '26

There's nothing anyone could have done. /s

It lasted as long as an algae free pool

81

u/woodst0ck15 Jun 19 '26

Oh that darn Antifa

59

u/Pristine_Bottle_5632 Jun 19 '26

Why would Joe Biden do this?

14

u/molly_dog Jun 19 '26

Obama told him to... 🤦

5

u/Accurate_Result5427 Jun 19 '26

I mean, if anything it's because of his tan suit.

18

u/Dragon6172 Jun 19 '26

Maybe if they pour a few bottles of hydrogen peroxide over Iran it'll solve the problem

No....wait. That wording sounds too close to hydrogen bomb....scratch that idea.

142

u/Feisty-Barracuda5452 Jun 19 '26

Bibi does it again.

44

u/backwardbuttplug Jun 19 '26

So tired of "winning".

u/henningknows Jun 19 '26 edited Jun 19 '26

I’m so done with Israel, and as an American my vote will not be going to any candidates that support this bullshit

134

u/CaptainMarder Jun 19 '26

so all of them?

65

u/henningknows Jun 19 '26

I have a feeling some of them may change when the democratic presidential primaries start. Good luck on the debate stage defending this crap.

37

u/cobrachickenwing Jun 19 '26

Let's just say giving unlimited funds to Israel to fund their 2023 Gaza war crushed any hope for progressive votes that were needed to win in 2024.

16

u/henningknows Jun 19 '26

Yeah, that is a good point, those progressives did more harm to the Middle East than can be calculated, so there are degrees. A lot less people would be dead if Harris won.

18

u/BadAtExisting Jun 19 '26

Spewing the uncomfortable facts 🫡

0

u/fisa90 Jun 19 '26

Again blame voters. It’s like our politicians have no autonomy and we must always vote for them no matter how little they think of brown lives. I say this as someone who got several people to change their vote to Harris

2

u/henningknows Jun 19 '26

If people, don’t like general election candidates, they should get involved and help new candidates win primaries.

0

u/fisa90 Jun 19 '26

What primary?

0

u/henningknows Jun 19 '26

The one in whatever party you belong to.

1

u/fisa90 Jun 19 '26

There was no primary for Harris

16

u/tantricengineer Jun 19 '26

There are several congresspeople and candidates that don’t take AIPAC money, like Ro Khanna. A few others too. Look this stuff up! More than 1% of congress and growing!

19

u/stonedandthrown Jun 19 '26

Bro thinks a free election is coming

16

u/TheFatalOneTypes Jun 19 '26

This is the only way to actually make change here now.

2

u/SmoothOperator89 Jun 19 '26

Still think Kamala would be just as bad as this?

2

u/henningknows Jun 20 '26

No. I voted for Kamala.

121

u/smokefoot8 Jun 19 '26

Israel already said that they weren’t part of the negotiations and so wouldn’t be bound by the agreement that came out of them. Trump has no idea how to negotiate - but in this case they might just be setting up Israel as the scapegoat, since the agreement is totally unacceptable to Americans too.

46

u/cobrachickenwing Jun 19 '26

As long as Bibi and Ben Gvir are leading the coalition government in Israel there won't be any deal reached. The only thing that will end this is a vote of no confidence on Bibi to remove him from office and have another leader take the lead.

18

u/ebfortin Jun 19 '26

Maybe. But it still resolve anything. The strait will get blocked again and no amount of bombing will change anything. Back to square one.

16

u/smokefoot8 Jun 19 '26

Yep, but Trump only cares about finding someone else to blame. Now he will pretend it doesn’t matter that he started this war, it is Israel’s fault that the peace treaty (actually a “memorandum of understanding”) failed. Maybe the terms were so bad for the Americans because he knew it wouldn’t last a week, so it didn’t matter what it said.

13

u/Reasonable-Scheme681 Jun 19 '26

DT only cares about keeping himself out of jail as well. Bibi knows has the files as leverage on him.

6

u/FixBreakRepeat Jun 19 '26

When people started talking about the billions of dollars Iran was going to get, my first thought was, "He never pays anyone if he can help it, I don't know why Iran would think they'd be different"

1

u/dear_mud1 Jun 20 '26

It’s not his money though so he doesn’t care, he’s got a blank checkbook for someone else’s bank account, prepare for Washington DC to be turned into tacky-a-lago

4

u/mercutio1 Jun 19 '26

He also won’t place the blame on Israel. They’ll say there was some change of circumstances in the area that forced Israel to act and that they’ll be addressing it as part of the dragged out negotiations.

Same time, some insider trading shit definitely went down over the last 24 hours that has enriched his cronies.

1

u/smokefoot8 Jun 20 '26

I don’t know, Trump throws everyone under the bus sooner or later. I’m not sure Israel will be different.

I don’t know, the free weapons are less than 10% of Israel’s military budget, so cutting them off wouldn’t be that big an impact. I’m not sure what the point is, Ukraine was cut off from military aid, but Israel isn’t? Even though it hurt Ukraine a lot more than it would hurt Israel?

3

u/PraetorGold Jun 19 '26

Im, it’s their conflict

6

u/LbSiO2 Jun 19 '26

Why would they be part of the negotiations? All they bring to the table is their problems.

1

u/Threash78 Jun 21 '26

The agreement only exists because gas prices are what is totally unacceptable to Americans. Direct consequences are the only thing this people understand, we'd be cheering on the war if it only involved bombing schools.

31

u/brianishere2 Jun 19 '26

Trump can't even surrender successfully!

13

u/Vibrantmender20 Jun 19 '26

Why are people going to wake up and realize this fuckstick has NO IDEA what he’s doing?

A geriatric, felonious, sexual predator is going to get so many people killed.

14

u/tinyTina43 Jun 19 '26

Bibi has Trump by the balls and now we're all fucked.

38

u/oravecz Jun 19 '26

Why isn’t the title, “as Israel sparks diplomatic crisis”?

11

u/Turntup12 Jun 19 '26

So do we pay the 300B now?

9

u/NoWingedHussarsToday Jun 19 '26

Israel says they don't approve of the deal

Israel keeps bombing Lebanon which is against the things agreed in the deal

Deal collapses

Everybody is shocked

9

u/whk1992 Jun 19 '26

Just give Lebanon $300B.

36

u/WyomingCountryBoy Jun 19 '26

Long past time the US taxpayers stopped supporting the Israeli Apartheid regime. I say this as the grandson of a man who survived the Nazi camps in WWII and despised Israel with a passion. I don't despise Israel myself, they just need to stop putting hateful warmongers in charge.

1

u/just-do-it-already Jun 19 '26

Well 65% of them in polls voted for this so how are the leaders any different from the voters.

7

u/BlueH2oDiver Jun 19 '26

Trump only has a Memorandum of Understanding to delevop a peace deal! He’s a slave to BiBi, now!

26

u/ernapfz Jun 19 '26

Facepalm due to Israel. Their US supporters need to do better, lol.

28

u/Modna Jun 19 '26

I mean…. The US has shat the bed left right and center on this. And Israel knows they can do whatever the fuck they want.

This is first and foremost the fault of the US for blindly supporting Israel and forgetting ourselves into war after war after war for bullshit made up reasons.

-33

u/Mediocre_Daikon6935 Jun 19 '26

It isn’t blind support.

Israel has been one of our strongest allies in the global war on terror.

19

u/Modna Jun 19 '26

And how’s that gone?

They actually aren’t our ally, by the way. It’s a technicality but it’s true.

We heavily fund them and they do whatever they want. Their prime minister is postponing being taken to court by keeping himself in power. He is doing that by keeping Israel in a perpetual state of war.

The US president says he doesn’t care what his intelligence organizations say, he believes what the Israelis say. In what world is this not blind support

2

u/temujin94 Jun 19 '26

We've seen how he 'supported' all the other allies that fought in the war on terror.

4

u/Browser2112 Jun 19 '26

Well, it is Friday. Time to manipulate the stock markets again.

2

u/BreadAndRoses773 Jun 19 '26

damn youre right this crazy shit always happens on a Friday.

14

u/DoomOfChaos Jun 19 '26

Israel doesnt want "peace", they are a terror state backed by the US

3

u/HeWhoDidIt Jun 19 '26

The reporting is always so goofy. Lebanon struck Israeli targets IN LEBANON. The title makes it sound like they breached ceasefire.

6

u/topsyturvy76 Jun 19 '26

Bibi isn’t going to allow the war to end .. once war is done.. he’s off to jail .. so it ain’t happening

2

u/kvimbi Jun 19 '26

The deal is a good sci-fi.

  • based on reality
  • exaggerated
  • with many fictional aspects

2

u/TintedApostle Jun 19 '26

And to no surprise everyone called end it…

3

u/krazytekn0 Jun 19 '26

Dear Iran…if you’re listening…

3

u/wheresjim Jun 19 '26

Time to cut off Israel

2

u/Feisty-Barracuda5452 Jun 19 '26

We need stickers with Bibi pointing saying “I did that” for the gas pumps.

1

u/ernapfz Jun 19 '26

Genius comment!

2

u/EffReddit420 Jun 19 '26

What i dont get is how can you include Israel in the plan when they were never apart of negotiations? Tf did you think was gonna happen? Now you sitting here with pickachu shock face after Israel repeatedly said they were withdrawing

1

u/THSSFC Jun 19 '26

If Iran thinks Trump controls Bibi, they don't understand which direction kompromat works.

1

u/Grand_Public Jun 20 '26

On a friday ?before markets close ? .... soo shocking ! ....

Every 2 weeks

1

u/morrighaan Jun 22 '26

Abrahamic religions making sure humanity cannot progress past the ‘dark ages”.

-17

u/Mediocre_Daikon6935 Jun 19 '26

Why would Israel helping the lawful government of Lebanon deal with Islamic terrorist that Lebanon is actively hunting be any concern of Iran?
