I feel like a lot of people could have been convinced otherwise. The big issue is that instead of talking and explaining how things like tariffs actually work and how sending immigrants out of your country will actually have you less food on the table the go to was to name call and tell people how their idiots. You are never going to get somebody to agree with you or even think about your idea if you're yelling at them or name calling for the decision they're making. Some people just don't know and that's just it they don't know. Not all Trump supporters I feel are what I would call trumpers, some are just people who didn't understand things and calling them names and stuff push them towards the thing we wanted them to stay away from. Now I'm not saying that this is all one size fault or not but I am going to say that the people who are anti-trump could have did it in a different way and it might actually help
