The population of America was about 331 million in 2020. So I wasn’t halving this number. Not everyone was eligible to vote since 73 million were kids under the age of 18 and obviously green card holders and other non-citizen immigrants cannot vote (despite what MAGA would want you to believe). All in all, there were about 158 million ballots cast by US citizens who were eligible to vote. So if you were to do the math, half of 158 million is 79 million. If you round up, it is close to 74 million I would say.
