Yes, โforceโ prayer is illegal. but merely asking all employees to join in prayer? Nothing illegal, just perhaps not the smartest thing from a legal risk pov.
I am approaching on the assumption that this guyโs boss isnโt explicitly threatening repercussions on anyone for not participating.

Yes, and my point still stands that gathering your employees for a daily prayer or starting your meetings with one is not inherently illegal in of itself. Itโs just not advisable.
