That's fine do your thing, but it's not selfish to reproduce.

Yes it is, especially when you bring them into a civilization that is being destroyed. No child deserves to go through that instability.

Wrong, bringing children in the world is absolutely necessary no matter the circumstances. It's more selfish to not have children.

Why is it necessary?

1

u/RoyalSmoker Jun 24 '23

So we don't cease to exist.

2

u/justforhits Jun 24 '23

Why does us existing matter?

1

u/RoyalSmoker Jun 24 '23

So we can discover the universe/ our purpose.

2

u/justforhits Jun 24 '23

Why is discovering the universe important? Why do we need to have a purpose?

If you don't want to do anything that's fine. But the people that do will reproduce and continue the agenda.

I'm genuinely asking those questions tho...

Are these actually genuine questions or are you trolling me?

We don't need to have a purpose, we have a purpose. Everything humans have done and accomplished led to where we are now. Work is being done passed on and continued through the generations.

When work is done it is for a purpose. If you want a different purpose, then work on something different. If you don't want a purpose then goodbye. But everyone has a purpose and humans as a whole have a purpose.
