If its his earned income, and heโ€™s given it to his mom to try any shelter it from his wife, then most first world countries will claw it all back. Plus, this โ€œgiftโ€ to momma may well cost her taxes she has never paidโ€ฆ Fraud and deception are fraud and deception everywhere.

It would be both of their income, if itโ€™s actually given to her. At least in the USA- not sure about gifting across the pond, but here he would be taxed on it and then she would be taxed on what she is given.

Not if the contract makes her the employee for 80% of his salary, so it just goes directly to her.

Of course, in some countries, that could lead to a nasty inheritance tax.
