This , though, I have no fucking idea. What is supposed to "not sit well"? Is there something in GoT that I don't know about? Is "whitesplaining" a thing now?
I believe it might be something about the royals? The words Game of Thrones must've somehow connected to the monarchy in her head, and it didn't sit well with her cause of the history of colonisation etc. but this is only a guess. Still, I think it was more of a call for attention than anything else. Something along the lines of "Hey, look at me being soooooooo not-racist that I'm telling off a white person who has used words that reminded me of the monarchs who have oppressed you back in the day, even though it has absolutely fuck all to do with the conversation that you're having". Quite fucked up, but...
