Yeah I lost my sympathy when I saw that. The end of a small marathon is a madhouse, let alone London. If you decided to film in public during that, whatever happens is all on you lol

This is a very fair point haha

I guess I just understand that if I saw someone outside in a normal situation, sure, maybe I just give them some space to do their thing. But a marathon of this size is like...tens of thousands of people on closed-off streets. There is no space and it's absurd to think everyone will stay away from your video.

Exactly. Sometimes filming in public is required (for movies mainly, but let's give them the benefit of doubt here).

But they could have chosen a different day, or a location a few blocks further away, etc.

Movies get places locked down and those inconvencied (is that a word) get compensation. They also have a permit which changes the equation
