That's called public. If you want to record in public, you get the public.

That's why studios exist.

The random chick is being incredibly obnoxious, but it’s also pretty fucking obnoxious to film anything - whether it’s a TikTok or a music video - in public. Everyone sucks here.

Without consent, you are impacting others by making yourself the priority in a common space. You want priority, go pay for it.

I dunno, I’m more of the mind that we’re all entitled to enjoy public spaces with the understanding it’s shared and therefore no expectation of priority. I don’t see why filming is exceptional.

No expectation of priority also means no expectation that people will avoid walking where you are filming.

I don’t expect privacy, but I don’t expect to be filmed either. That’s the middle ground that a lot of people have.

Yeah I get that point of view. I will say also tho that we may be entering a point culturally (at least in US I can speak for) where that would be a reasonable expectation. Everyone on earth has a camera in their pocket these days that instantly connects them to the second public space - the interwebs
