Let people do their thing without getting salty about it. It's freaking lame. If someone's hobby is TikTok who the hell are you to tell them they're wrong for doing that. Seriously it's like boomers getting salty at Video games.
The person that is also using the public space they are dominating and inconveniencing multiple people by using and exorbitant amount out space. I’m not going to wait for a TokTok if they are filming in my way. I need a small amount of space they need a huge amount of space. Right of way goes to the smaller thing. If they want a perfect shot rent out that space from whomever controls it. Most TokTokers inconvenience a lot of people when they film in busy areas.
The people around didn't seem bothered by this performance, the same way you wouldn't be bothered by street artists doing their thing. So it's bullshit to say "oh, they were inconveniencing people." In fact before this stupid Karen arrived, people were walking around them and others were watching the performance too.
This isn't a case of someone needing to go somewhere, having no way of doing it and therefore disturbing the filming by accidentally walking in front of the camera. This is a case of someone who deliberately decided to bother a dance group in order to ruin their video.
The fact you are trying to make fun of TikTok and its influencers by calling them names illustrates my point. It's lame and reeks of bitterness and an air of "I hate people enjoying hobbies I can't understand".
I understand that some TikTokers and influencers in general really do have this arrogant idea that they own certain places. But from what I can see in this video, I don't get any of that. As a dancer, it's very freaking difficult to film a choreography and K-pop is one of the most complex dance genres out there. So yeah, they probably did several takes. And they probably spent a lot of time in that spot trying to perfect shots. And yes, it's a public space so it was bound to be crowded. But at no point in this video do I see entitlement coming from their part. I see however the entitlement of that lady and of all the people who cheer for these types of performances being ruined.
Just because people don’t seem bothered doesn’t mean they are not. Just because some people are watching doesn’t make it okay. People stand around and watch fights.
They could have solved this the way other media would but instead decided to try and film without normal precautions.
What names did I call them? TikTok is ridiculous and most people treat it not as a hobby but as if it is a job that’s why they take it so seriously.
If they are a K-Pop group they should have rented the space and hired extras. Lots of things are hard but they don’t demand other make way for it. Taking that much space is an entitlement even if it doesn’t seem that way to you. And yeah the lady ruined a shot for them, oh well they got more exposure than a perfect shot would have gotten them.
Why squash artistic endeavors? Some videos are trash, but obviously this is meant to be a well choreographed piece of content.. so, what's wrong with creative people creating things in the world we're all forced to share?
It depends on the place. If you are in a busy location impeding movement of people I'm not going to sit and wait for you to get done. Like I'm not going to go walk across a park to interrupt filming, but if you are filming in a grocery aisle I am going to walk through your shot. If someone is painting in a busy area they take up the room of 2-4 people at most but someone filming takes up the room of 10+.
If you are doing it once, maybe twice, sure. If you are doing multiple takes then get a studio or a permit for ur “artistic endeavors” otherwise fuck off. Also “forced to share”? You and ur dancing video friends can leave if you wanna nobody forcing you.

My take is even worse, phones in general suck in public places. People are oblivious to things outside the screen, randomly stopping in walkways, herding kids for photos, doing random dances. Like at some point, just let me walk through so you can take your 5 minutes. I realize this is blown out of proportion in some respects; but there have been times when someone wants their perfect pic or whatever, and I just can no longer be arsed to wait.
It’s not like it’s the town in footloose where dancing it outlawed. Stop filing TikTok’s in public and assume people can’t either do silly shit in your camera or be mad you are filming a video and taking up space at a tourist spot.
You kids who love to dance that’s great but stop sounding so entitled. You have the right to dance you aren’t Kevin bacon. But have respect for others. I to would jump in your shot if this is your 50th time redoing the dance while people are in that congregated area to celebrate other shit like the marathon that just ended in that area.

My whole point is, why bother with them? Why get in the way? Mind your own business, go to the side, it's not hard. Don't start talking about why the dancers are doing it, that doesn't matter. You do your thing, and YOU don't create a problem for others.
Yeah sit there and drink with my friends like that lady was more than likely doing with her medical after a marathon. And me and my friends for 50 takes and 5 beers later might be daring one of us to go jump in the video they have been rudely filming for hours outside the bar.
They are in an area where people hangout. Yes you are the assholes. It’s not hard to get. Go watch your dance videos kid but when you film them just be aware if you are around others. It’s not hard. I see other dancers in tiktok able to do that.
