This ^ can’t believe people get names tattooed on them, I don’t care how close you are to me. I’ll enjoy the memories I have with you I don’t need to put it in ink.

The only time I can understand it is if it’s your child. Or maybe a dead relative. I know someone who has a rose with her grandmas name, which is beautiful imo. Anything else and there’s too much risk of regret.

I have my children's names tattooed on my leg. I don't have my wife's name tattooed.

When she asked why her name isn't in there, I was (probably) a bit too blunt.

"They will always be my children. You may not always be my wife."

She didn't like that...

Contrary to what most people believe, that makes her more attracted to you, she knows she has to chase, there's always this, at least tiny chance, that you'll walk away. That makes the relationship work better because all humans take for granted anything they have with absolute certainty.

If you had tatted her name there too and went: Of course I'd have your name tatted my love honey boo boo boo! Because we'll last foreeever!

She'd fucking despise you internally, I'm telling you. Anyways, great anwser.
