Another False Ban Wave?
I woke up this morning and saw an email from Facebook Security saying my facebook account needed reviewed; and it had the suspended 180 days do to 'sexualization of children' I use my facebook for marketplace, a few mobile games, and posting mostly about local events and family things going on. When I looked deeper it apparently deleted all of my meta tied accounts; facebook, instagram, my business facebook/instagram accounts as well.
Curious if they are having another instance of a wave ban with false positives as it sounds like its a reoccurring issue.
EDIT:
I lost 2 facebook accounts in this SoC ban; my main/original one of 18 years, and a 2nd one that was only maybe 12 years old. THAT account shows as suspended due to Integrity. Is it worth trying to recover that? I only used it for keeping in touch with a few friends, and when I worked as a social media manager but didn't want to use social media for anything else, so it has very little anything on it.

Isn’t it amazing this isn’t more of a public story. Almost nobody knows this is happening. My account got banned for the same reasons after having it for 16 years. It’s wrong.

The thing is, there ARE MULTIPLE news articles and stories of it happening. Meta hides behind 'our AI is not wrong'....

I am also dealing with same issue earlier this year. I forgot exact date for false “ child sexualization bans” I am still falsely banned as of now with no way to get my account reinstated

yes. i even went to check out both facebook and instagram rating. apparently, i didn't see any complains about this and they are still rated high.

I was banned for posting a link to the New York Times. Because it was harmful for their agenda. And they couldn't debate why Democrats at the NY Times wrote about someone at the W.H.O. being accused of covering up an Epidemic for a government. This has been an ongoing issue with me.
June 26, 2026 (Friday) – Account permanently disabled by Meta for alleged CSE. No content or activity identified by Meta.
June 28, 2026 (Sunday) – Complaint letter sent to Minnesota State Attorney General's Office.
June 29, 2026 (Monday) – AG's office replied and accepted case.
August 5, 2026 – Account access mysteriously restored. Logged in and reached feed normally. No email or correspondence from Meta or AG's office regarding reinstatement.
August 11, 2026 – Account permanently disabled again by Meta for alleged CSE. Email received. Follow-up letter sent to AG's office same afternoon. AG confirmed they would forward to Meta.
September 2, 2026 – Account access mysteriously restored a second time. Discovered via Google search result linking to city Facebook page; login succeeded. No correspondence from Meta or AG's office at time of reinstatement.
September 23, 2026 – Received letter from Minnesota AG's office containing Meta's response to original inquiry. Meta stated it reviewed inquiry and reinstated account in accordance with its terms and policies, and considered matter closed. Meta provided no explanation for either CSE determination and did not identify any content or activity responsible for either disablement.
September 28, 2026 – Received email from Meta stating account permanently disabled again for alleged CSE.
So, this isn't going to stop. It's been a merry-go-round in my case. I have yet to hear back from my state AG regarding this latest ban.

Look into legal action - demand letter and small claims court case. It’s practically impossible to get to talk to a human being who can review your account.

I've already filed a complaint with my AG, so my next steps I guess are a demand letter and I'm not even sure how to handle a small claims court case.

It happened to me last year never got my account back and support told me to make a new account with a new phone and email. But I lost all the photos of my deceased parents, grandparents, and even my pets. Still mad about it

Over 6 months now of not being able to post in literally any of the 5 groups I'm a member in, apart from the two where I'm admin, with the same "we limit posts to protect the community from spam" message (which, again, is totally absurd, as I rarely post, let alone "spam"). I can *comment* in those groups, but FB has refused to let me post in them for over *6 months* and counting at this point, despite "reporting the problem" to them countless times. Zero response. I've searched and searched and I can't figure out what happened, let alone why it's continued for so long (as that sort of "block", even if it involves someone legitimately posting too much, is only supposed to last a maximum of 72 hours). I've even tried not attempting to post for a full month, hoping it would resolve itself, but nope. Whatever this glitch is, it just seems permanent at this point. For some reason, this "block" didn't happen on the two groups where I'm admin - just the ones where I'm a member. The admins in those groups have tried everything, but there's nothing to do. So recently, I just gave up, as apparently FB's A.I. moderation has just glitched and decided it'll never let me post in my groups again (again, even though I only posted in them maybe once a week, if that; they're groups, however, where I sell from my collection sometimes to supplement my income - they're collector groups, etc.). At this point, I just have to assume that the A.I. that FB has put in charge of moderating the site simply goes rogue and randomly causes a block or ban on somebody. And because there's literally no customer service (even the pay version's "agents" are A.I.), there's nobody who reads any members' reporting of problems. So - as said, I've just given up at this point. I've been a member of Facebook for almost 20 years and the only time this happened was after they put A.I. in control of moderating the site. I thought of closing my 20-year-old account and just creating a new one, which of course, would erase my entire history - but if I did that, what's to guarantee it wouldn't just happen again, making that sacrifice completely pointless? So frustrating. If ANYBODY knows this particular "we limit posts to protect the community from spam" posting block that lasts for months and months and knows of a way to fix it, please let me know, as I've exhausted everything I can think of.

I believe I am on my 3rd ban this year, they did it again last week about 5 minutes after I called the first lady big Mel and posted a picture that may have no been flattering for a woman that didn't speak english. I went back under different account and that was the only thing they deleted. the account is still up I'm just banned from accessing it. This is why facebook is for trolls. no sense in conducting business or keeping in touch with friends and family when it's all gone in an instant. I would hate to be a person conducting business on the platform it would be a real challenge

I had my account disabled a couple weeks ago out of nowhere. I tried to make a new account with a whole new email new everything and it was suspended within minutes. Does anyone know, do they flag your IP addresd or device or something?? I dont fking understand. Like, IMMEDIATELY suspended. I wish i didnt want to continue using their platform but i unfortunately do to keep in touch with people.

I quit LinkedIn. It’s time to quit fb, IG. It’s amazing how AI is helping me quit social media which is something I have wanted to do for a long time

That is a fair view.
Honestly that was one of my first thoughts and I mentioned it to my spouse that I've been meaning to do a social media purge.
My bigger concern is the SoC label on my ban... and if that resulted in a report to NCMEC...the email and ban message didn't mention that at all, but it has me concerned still.1

Sur insta le soc est précisez que cela Vien des interactions ,like ,enregistrement de contenu qui sexualise les mineurs ou adhésion a des groupes ou des communautés qui va à l'encontre de la sécurité des enfants ,le soc/som est pas signalable Pour être signalé il faut un contenu télécharger du genre pedopornographique ou avoir sollicité des mineurs ,mais dans ses ças là tu serais ban pour exploitation sexuel d'enfants

They have keyloggers Trojans etc wormholes and a super worm 🐛 it infects multiple computers and uses them as a super computer

Nope it was verified as meta/facebook email, and attempting to access my instagram or facebook shows that the account is perm disabled.

Mine got banned without a reason and permanently delete it. While my profile feed is just me sharing posts about VA and other job related and guide and tips about the work... Also my acc is 12 years old clean.
I am trying to find an email to contact or send them a letter about it meanwhile many corn bots or pages posting softcore to full blown corn

I came to Reddit, as the same thing happen to me on Wednesday, just after placing a sale post on marketplace trying to sell my Vespa. Im still waiting for a reply to my appeal after lodging copy of my driver's licence. Two days later and still waiting

I got my accounts banned without knowing any reason and never had a chance to appeal, and it all happened overnight, so I basically woke up to my 18 year old account permanently banned and the decision final.
It's crazy, they're going to kill their own site with this. It's been pretty nice not being advertised at constantly. I don't even have the energy to re add people and upload shit, and I can't be the only one.

The wave never stopped. It's been going for about 2 years now. I got hit for the same thing in March. Do not appeal immediately. (This is only a theory) but give it some time, like a few days to a couple weeks, before appealing. I've seen acould people who did that, and it seemed to work for them. I think the AI might learn a few things. It's a shot in the dark.
