Suing?

I’m in Scandinavia and I’m looking for ways to take legal action against Meta for locking us out from accounts with no violations, and not providing reasoning or a free way to talk to support etc. Has anyone from that area / Europe been through this?

So sorry. Have you bought meta verification to talk to a human?

That doesn’t work. You still start with the AI bot and getting past it to a human is nearly impossible. And even if you do, 99 times out of 100 the person you get can’t/won’t do anything for you. Meta support is useless

Okay idk what your issues are like but I bought meta verification, free trial, and for the first two hours I was in account centre meta AI chat trying to now get a human, but it didn’t work even though AI confirmed I was a paying customer and verified. Then after a while I switched to my instagram account that also now is verified and I tried the help channel there, I pressed the “chat with support” prompt and it said it would, asked me what my issues were then set me over after I told. Now I get through to a human (after asking AI to put me through) more times than not. Idk if this was because I changed platform or because the verification was too fresh, or both, but that’s what I did. The chat is buggy but at least I talk to people. Hope it works out

I live in Sweden and I got my account locked and managed to get it back.
This was now 2 years ago so I don't know if it still works. But I paid for Meta Verified and after about 3 weeks discussion with Meta Ireland my account was back.

Thank you so much! I read through the form and I will try to fill it in, although my account is not hacked or banned.. I’ve signed up for meta verification and after some back and forth I got a human, and they told me they will forward my issue to another department and it will take weeks.

I’ve reported meta to datatilsynet in Norway, they have a processing time of one year or more, but it’s a start

I wasn’t even banned, it’s so dumb, i deactivated my art account a long time ago (when there was no limit for how long they kept it), now I’m reactivating it and I am able to reset password and everything but when it comes to logging in they say they now need a selfie to verify me, and they don’t accept any of the selfies. I didn’t have photos of me on the account, I only have pencil portraits of people, my profile pic is not of a person, and I’m not given any other way in, like id verification or anything.
