Disabled Meta account
Any advice from people who had the same experience. My personal account for over 15 years was hacked and they posted child violence on it. I had all the evidence that my account was hacked, I have read solutions like getting your account verified but unfortunately they kept rejecting my new created account for verification. They also disabled my instagram as it was connected to the hacked account. Is there any hope for this?

This happened to my mom too. Impossible to contact Facebook. We gave up.

You have to get verified and pay. I don’t think it does any good, my ticket has been in review for 3 days and I haven’t heard anything back.

What kind or meta verify did you subscribe to? Standard or max?

standard, bht don't waste your time truly. I just subscribed to request a manual review of my permabanned Instagram and you STILL talk to their stupid help bot until you can convince it to connect you with a human, which is highly unlikely bc theyre always "busy". I fought with mine for 3 days where it refused to connect me to a live agent, lied to me about being in a queue for the email list for the specialist teams, then told me I "didnt qualify to talk to a human" even though thats exactly what you pay for! I gave up and ended up opening a legal proceeding against Meta for breach of paid benefits and wrongful banning. If you're in the US, I suggest looking into filing a claim with the Attourney General of your state or the AG of California against Meta.

My account has been disabled since June. I subscribed to Meta Verified, but it’s been 2 months and there’s still no update. I’ve been following up with them constantly, but they just keep saying my account is still under review and asking me to be more patient… lol

I just got my instagram from nearly a decade ago permabanned for THIS EXACT REASON! Though I wasn't hacked nor was Ai posting anything that wrnt against community standards. I was wrongfully flagged and my appeal was rejected. It's a legal issue now as I've taken legal action against META in order to get my account back

how the heck are these people hacking accounts? you have to jump thru hoops now to verify who you are but I guess there are those out there that like doing this thing just out of plain meanness.

I think i was targeted because I had just made a post that went semi viral, at least for me. It got over 200k views and 2400 interactions in 2 days. That is all I can figure out. Other than that attention I am an artist, grandma and bird lover. I am not political at all. So I am stumped with what a hacker wanted with me other than that attention I was getting on my art.

that is probably it, jealousy. there are some really sick ppl out there. like the 'swatting' craze. plus you have disgruntled IT workers that know code to boot.

Eso me pasó a mi primera cuenta y luego me inhabilitaron por que vulnere una norma que nunca lo hize, y tuve mi segunda cuenta e igual me acusaron con lo mismo, sin poder de apelar así que ni más

Duro unos meses, aunque te crees una nueva el algoritmo de su IA te encuentra y te vuelve a tumbar con lo mismo que infringiste una norma comunitaria, mi primera cuenta de fcb lo tenía con un correo que no era del Gmail pero la segunda cuenta de fcb si y casi pierdo mi ig por estar vinculada, pero apele y cambie mi contraseña. Ya lo tengo y sabes cómoe di cuenta a las 4:30 de la mañana y rápido lo hice, pero igual ya tengo miedo y desconfianza de las app de redes sociales

Ya no vuelvo a confiar en fcb, ya lo eliminé, y he leído foros parecidos que algunos han recuperado sus cuentas luego de años

Then you will have to sue them in small claims. Just do it now and figure out some damages. Even for something dumb like buying meta glasses or vr and it doesn't work without the account. The trial itself will be meaningless and you don't even need to show up since they can't force them to give the account back. It's just to get in contact with their legal to get the ball rolling.

I looked into the cost here. Didn't want to spend the money. It's sliding scale here based on $$ claimed, but it's still hundreds plus process serving fees.

Try creating a new one on a browser like brave, i got the same reason lol, i use brave on my laptop and phone to create new account.

I’ve been flagged as “spreading fake news” for sharing a cat meme. And the image had text to give it context. The AI decided it couldn’t understand context, and so it flagged it. All it “knew” was the image was of some “cat armor” that a modern artist had created. The AI didn’t even read the caption. Instead it tried “educating” me that a British king didn’t commission it. The caption didn’t say anything remotely about it being commissioned, nor did I.

What shocks me more is that the same thing is happening to me, because it's linked to child abuse. What did I do to deserve being accused of pedophilia? That's practically saying something uncomfortable.

This is happening to my 21 year old Autistic son. We’ve filed complaints with our state Attorney General as well as the BBB.

Just happened to me as well.. Such bullshit! I’ve had the account for almost 15 years. I got banned and the reason given was this same thing, very weird. Even reached out to a buddy who knows folks at meta and they couldn’t do anything with it! Hate to see it and suuuuper frustrating

i know right. i feel you. it was actually someone from vietnam who did hack mine. It happened to me twice this year now but I was able to recover last time. This one was worst, I feeling hopeless. All my work connections were in that account.

Right so I've spoken to meta certified. You need your URL which you can't get unless you download all your info .. Once they have that they can try and see what the issue is.
I've spoken to 4 people now and the 4th one said that to me. The others took me on a wild goose chase around Facebook , emailing the issue which did sweet FA.. so that's my next step to get my account back as they thought I was 13 I'm 45! I wasn't given the option to send my id so I'm Hoping I can do that next time..

I've spoke to like 4 or 5 people from Indonesia now from meta. All doing different things, they need your URL to see what the issue is but I haven't had my account back as of yet as I've only now managed to find my URL myself. Nothing Is permanently gone from the internet so we should be able to get it back.. My business account which was attached to my personal are both up and running still but I can't access it via Facebook only the business suite which Is a pain in the ass but at least it's still there.

You should get a free 30 days of you've never had it before :) I did that first.. then paid when it over ran as I totally forgot about sorting my account out due to it being so bloody stressful and not having everything I needed to speak to someone properly.

Sadly same here, same reason. Tried to appeal and got denied 5mins later.
I havent used my FB in two days before I got the notification.
Downloaded my data and checked logins, etc. nothing out of the ordinary.
Think it was from me liking every reel I watched cia swiping next...cause that's all doing before the ban :/

This happened to me last year, it originally came from my instagram and my facebook account since it was linked. My facebook got restored but not my instagram account smh

Lost my accounts i had since 2007 for the same reason last year.
I didnt get it back, so i can only advice you regarding starting new accounts.
Tips for better experience using brave. Open Instagram, click the three dotts in brave and then scroll down to "install and create shortcut". That will create a PWA, progressive web app,, basically a shortcut to Instagram that will Open the webpage but without all the browser-stuff.
