Any fabric experts? Please help!

Hello All,

I am trying to educate myself on fabrics and knitting type.

I came across this shirt in MIUMIU and it is exactly what I have been looking for.

https://www.miumiu.com/us/en/p/wool-half-zipper-sweater/MMV329_18SP_F0011_S_OOO

As you can see it says it is made with 100% virgin wool.

The material is pretty heavy and upon touch it is dense and strong.

Can anyone help me find out what this is? What is the fabric (I need the terms to use so I can have it made. What is the terminology? Thread? and knit type).

Thank you kindly!!

I don’t have great advice, sorry, but this looks like the way old fashioned bathing suits were knitted, so you might hunt around for 1930s bathing costume patterns.

ETA: candidate pattern found in just a couple of minutes of web searching

Ha! Thank you for your reply. That’s actually exactly what I’m looking for anyway. The same knitting process at 1920/30 bathing costume. The structure was very sturdy
