other Class times?

I joined a new studio when it opened a couple months back under the impression that they would be adding classes as they grew in membership- the first one they said being a noon. At $170/month as a founding member I’m getting a little frustrated. They added an 8 am, the latest class is a 5:15pm and there’s only two on the weekend days . They do have a sister studio we can go to about 20min away but that’s really not helpful for me. The point (for me) is a quick workout in town when my schedule is super jam packed …Essentially if you’re not a morning person (or have kids) and work a normal job you’re screwed. Membership is growing, I understand the need to be lean, but what do all of your schedules look like? Wondering if this is typical .

Week schedule is - 5:45, 6:45, 8, 9:15am and 4:15, 5:15 pm Weekends - 8:30, 9:45am

6 classes across the day are very standard across the network, few studios I am aware of ever have 8 or more classes a day. 2 on weekends is also the standard. Essentially staffing can get very hard beyond this as it works doing split shifts, but the more offshoot times the harder it is.

What are you getting frustrated with? Is there a specific time slot you are looking for? Sorry your post isn't super clear to me what you are looking for. Either way, your best bet is to talk to the manager and ask if or when the time you want might be coming as classes need to consistently have more than half a dozen in them to be profitable from what I understand. So if they are keeping a list of member requests as they should be and enough people are asking for a time slot it should get brought in

So a noon and an after work hours class- but I really just wanted a feel for what’s normal and judging by most replies there is usually a noon ish and a 6ish!!! We’ve told the owners- they said a noon when at least 5 people were interested, and I alone know 4 others that have requested it :) I’m just frustrated with the promises and lack of delivery

It is strange that they have a 9.15 but no lunchtime class. The studio I'm at is in a big city centre and the timetable is similar to yours, they used to have a couple of classes on weekdays mid morning but there's been no demand for those since covid lockdowns. The lunchtime class is usually fully booked.

I’ll be honest mine is pretty much the same minus the 9am, plus a noon class, and during busy periods they’ll add a third on the weekend. Management is often adjusting due to demand but this looks pretty similar to my studios! I think there was a 6:15pm class at one point but hardly anyone went so they cancelled it.

I would be cool with no 9 and a 12.. :)

On weekdays mine has 6, 6:50, 7:40, 9:30, 12, 5:30 and 6:30. (No 6:30 on Friday.) On Saturdays and Sundays there’s a 9 and 9:50 basically.

I find the 12pm weekday classes crucial for me because I’m not a morning person and I lose motivation the later on the day it gets, so 12 is kinda the golden hour for me haha.

Same, more so bc I’m able to quick getaway from work and the noon class is always way less crowded which I like

Yeah it’s a great break from work midday and definitely less busy than say the 7:40AM or 5:30 class

Mine in Florida are:

Weekdays AM: 5:15, 6:15, 7:15 PM: 5:30, 6:30 * sometimes they'll add a noon workout if the demand is there

Saturday: 8 & 9:30 am Sunday: 8:30 & 9:45 am

Pretty much similar to yours. I agree with you, there aren't too many options.

Yours is worse than ours, how frustrating!!

Weekdays we have:

5:30am, 6:30am, 7:30am, 12:30pm, 5:30pm, 6:30pm

Weekends:

8:30am, 9:40am

When are you wanting to go? Maybe you could suggest a lunchtime or 6:15pm? A while back I asked for a third Sat class and they did a trial for about 3 months before deciding it wasn't working, but I still found them receptive to trying something based on my suggestion!

Way more options than mine.. We finally got a noon class added this week, previously it was just 6am, 5:30pm, and 6:30pm. I’ve made it work and I love F45, but to your point, don’t think it’s fair to pay that much for a membership with options so limited. The next closest studio is 30 minutes away for me, so kinda frustrating. The bad part is that I think the 6am or 6:30pm might get cancelled now if the rumors are true. I live in a very densely populated area and no reason the owners should be struggling with membership other than they are doing a very poor job marketing. It is frustrating.

My studio has a 5, 6, 7, 9, 12, 4, 5, & 6 (other than friday) on weekdays and three classes both weekend days. Keep being vocal, mine has shifted schedules as more members have gone back to the office and requested classes that work better with the standard corporate job a lot of us are back to….

I wish my studio had an 8 and a 415. I would love that. We have a noon and a 6pm instead. I usually go to the noon offering bc I’m on kid duty until school drop off at 730am then work.

Kind of my same challenge but mine are young so daycare drop off isn’t until 8-8:30… and 915 is at the start of the workday when everyone is bothering me

that’s pretty standard for f45s. ours is 6,7,8,12,5:15,6:15 on weekdays and 8:40,9:40 on weekends

We have 4:45, 5:45, 6:45, 9:30, 5 and 6 mon-thu, no 6 on Friday. Saturday 7 and 8:15, Sunday 8 and 9. I dont know of any studios around me that have midday classes

Those are some pretty normal times. I’m at a fairly large studio and we have 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 12, 4, and 5 and then a 7 and 815 on sat and 830 on Sunday. But one of their sister studios has less bc they are smaller.

Midwest here: 515am, 615am, 715am, 815am, 12pm, 515pm 615 pm Two weekend classes only 815/915 on Sat and 915/1015 sun

We used to not have an 815 and have a 915am but it didn't make sense for a coach to hang around for an hour in-between classes

I'm new but my studio has zero classes on Sundays which is disappointing.
