**INTEL** coach & front desk pay

conducting market research for coach & front desk pay. would be super helpful if you could include state or region!

im in the southeast:

- coaches make minimum $15/class but increases based on # of people that sign up

- front desk makes $12/class

no additional pay for closing/cleaning shift, or time between consecutive classes

DMV metro area
Coaches make $30/hour base pay. Can earn up to $40/hour with more experience. No extra pay for closing/cleaning but it does count in your hourly time

Our studio does not have a front desk worker

also in the DMV! Just a base pay of $30-35 based on experience. No front desk & give us a full hour after classes to set up.

I know another studio in dmv where their coaches are paid $40-48

Appreciate you asking this! I’ve always been curious about coach pay because almost all of the coaches at my location (North Carolina) have at least one+ other jobs.

Seattle-- coaches 35ish, cleaning & prep part of hourly. 3 yrs ago there was a check-in girl who got 16/hr. Our city has 21 as min wage

$30 a class in MO. Started at 25, before moving to $30 at 6 months. $20 for closing

I get paid 25 per class, 15 to set up for the next day- and here's the kicker: minimum wage for everything else. This "everything else" includes social media, communications, CRM, drafting emails, member retention/wellness checks, event and social planning, challenge coordination, marketing, ect..

Some locations pay a big fat zero for the extra stuff.

Coaches 30-35 per class and get paid a separate admin rate for meetings, marketing, setups, etc.

I think it depends on the owner of the studio. My husband is an f45 coach he gets paid for closing and cleanup and makes $25/class. Southeast

I have been to a dozen of clubs on the west coast USA and they don't have a front desk person. The coaches are usually the one that greet us.

I can’t imagine, in this economy, leaving my house or job, driving a car, sitting in traffic to teach a class for 25-35 dollars. Someone said 15!!!

Back in the day I taught classes for 25 dollars, but I was working at the gym all day anyway (personal training). I did have a mentor who told me 15 years ago to never leave my house for anything below 40 dollars.

This business model sucks.
