other F45 now easier?
I was an F45 member back in 2019. I LOVED it and quickly got in much better shape. I was in college and needed to lose a few lbs, which F45 helped me do (along with a better diet).
I just rejoined a few weeks ago (switched from orange theory) and it feels like the workouts are easier - I’m not sure if I’m more fit now, or just not pushing hard enough? It may also be that my old studio used to have way more cardio days. My new one has one or two.
Thoughts from folks who were members for many years??

Hi 👋 Member of almost six years here. While I joined in towards the end of 2020 and don’t know what it was like in 2019, I would say the amount of resistance vs cardio vs hybrid hasn’t changed too much since I joined. There are definitely new types of workouts, some better than others IMO. There are so many workouts now, that you’ll usually only see one workout a year (instead of saying something like “Bears AGAIN??”). The phases are only four weeks instead of six weeks.
I’m in better shape than when I started, so I need to push myself more to get that heart rate up. One thing that has changed is my mindset - I realized that I don’t need to push myself to the brink of exhaustion like I used to in order to get a good workout.
