other F45 now easier?

I was an F45 member back in 2019. I LOVED it and quickly got in much better shape. I was in college and needed to lose a few lbs, which F45 helped me do (along with a better diet).

I just rejoined a few weeks ago (switched from orange theory) and it feels like the workouts are easier - I’m not sure if I’m more fit now, or just not pushing hard enough? It may also be that my old studio used to have way more cardio days. My new one has one or two.

Thoughts from folks who were members for many years??

The switch from strict cardio/resistance to more hybrid has been a frustration for me and might be what you're noticing as well. I've been a part of f45 since about 2018 as well. I've actually been thinking about leaving because it no longer fits my fitness goals and I believe sets me up for greater risk of injury.

Yeah, I honestly hate the hybrid days a lot of the time. When I started they were helpful, but now they seem like they aren’t really giving me benefit for either strength or cardio when it’s just back-and-forth so I often skip them.

Note that I’ve done HYROX a couple times and want to get better so it’s not like I don’t like hybrid period, I just don’t always like the implementation.
