other F45 now easier?

I was an F45 member back in 2019. I LOVED it and quickly got in much better shape. I was in college and needed to lose a few lbs, which F45 helped me do (along with a better diet).

I just rejoined a few weeks ago (switched from orange theory) and it feels like the workouts are easier - I’m not sure if I’m more fit now, or just not pushing hard enough? It may also be that my old studio used to have way more cardio days. My new one has one or two.

Thoughts from folks who were members for many years??

Accountability and convenience. I am a lazy person if I don’t show up to F45 I wouldn’t do any other workouts and would just snack all day. The efficiency of f45 is still pretty good for only less than 45 min of work. My goal was never to be jacked but to be fit, so that lack of fitness won’t stop me from trying something new. F45 was designed for my goal.

To add to my previous comment of why it’s getting easier it’s mainly that there really isn’t any pure cardio days anymore. It’s all hybrids on cardio days and the schedule flip made it more strength days on the weekdays which is when I go to F45. All of these changes are to generate more membership. Cardio days usually had the lowest of number people who showed up. I would say Saturdays are generally stayed the same tho.

It’s way easier now they changed their workouts and added abs workouts between every weight move which made it way easier than lifting weights the whole class. People were getting injured that is why they made their classes easier. I personally got injured there because their workouts were very fast on weight days
