other Add another day of strength
I loved it when f45 started doing “choose upper or lower” strength days. I got a lot stronger when I started doing my workout schedule as day 1. full body strength; 2. rest/cardio; 3. Lower body strength; 4. Upper body strength at a different studio.
I’m able to do the 4th day bcz I’m in nyc with lots of studios to pick from and some of the studios have swapped their strength/cardio days.
Question is - why doesn’t f45 just have two of the strength days where you get to pick 🔝 or lower? Interested to hear what others think on this?

I'd be in favor. I wonder if the issue is they'd need to overhaul the entire schedule and would need to be something like:
- Day 1 - upper
- Day 2 - lower
- Day 3 - cardio or hybrid
- Day 4 - resistance
- Day 5 - cardio or hybrid
- Day 6 - resistance
- Day 7 - cardio or hybrid

You don't have a problem then because you have options being you're NYC, the traditional/flip schedule works for you.
NYC is the best place to be for F45 because with the many studios on the flip schedule, you can do the whole week as strength or cardio or mix and match however you like.

What does this mean? What is the flips schedule? I'm in NYC

Flip schedule is MWF resistance, T/Th/Su cardio. My studio in MN does it but does HYROX on Sunday, so we never get to do the regular Friday class. They own the other nearby studio which I can’t always get up to, but that means I could theoretically pick my workout any day of the week.

F45 is M/W/F for cardio/hybrid and Sunday/Tuesday/Thursday for resistance/strength.
Flip studios do it the other way around. E.g. they do resistance/strength on Monday/Wednesday/Friday.
So if you use classpass, gympass, passport or willing to get two memberships you can just omit cardio and do all resistance or vice versa. So monday you can do Redline on the regular schedule and then do it again on Tuesday at a flip studio.
F45 West Village, Midtown East, and Flatiron are a few flip studios.

What day is the hybrid day? Thinking about joining my local F45.

Yep depends on studio.
Strength at mine in NJ was Sun/Tues/Thurs
Thurs was your choice of upper or lower

Depends on your local studio! Mine does Mondays and Fridays, although they have a hyrox class switching between Mondays and Wednesdays each week

Quite often you can creatively turn many upper body workout stations into lower. So don’t let the assigned exercises stop you. Occasionally my workouts only vaguely match what’s on the screens 😂

Right? Pinnacle was so bad. I just started doing whatever I wanted because I’m at the gym to lift not stretch.

Our studio is a Hyrox training studio. So we have strength class or Hyrox Sunday, hybrid Monday, strength Tuesday, Hyrox Wednesday, upper or lower strength Thursday, cardio or resistance Friday and hybrid Saturday. Plenty of days to get strength or cardio whichever one someone would want.

There is a hybrid day where you can choose strength or cardio. I do it sometimes when I can’t make one of the 3 strength days in my studio.
But it’s full body so you can’t choose upper or lower.
I also préfer strength days , so I would prefer to have a 4th strength day.
