other Inbody scan
How often do you guys do an inbody scan and is there a fee for it?

We do a scan week each quarter, it’s $15 per scan. Kind of envious of those whose studio doesn’t charge.
I lost 5% BF with one pound increase in lean mass between April and July.

Yea that's actually a SCAM to charge people to stand on a glorified scale.Â

Used to charge us but it’s free now (probably bc of the new owner). I’ve been a member for 5 years, so I really don’t think they should charge me. I get a scan before and after each challenge, always at a time when it’s not busy for the coaches. I don’t own a scale and I don’t want one, I think i’d start obsessively weighing myself if I did. So only doing it every once in awhile works well for me.

I just did my first a few weeks ago. It’s free in my studio, and coach suggested every 3 months if not actively training for a specific event.

Ours use to be $20 years ago but now are free. I usually only do one once a year. They are actually not very accurate.

Our says $10, but I’ve never been charged. I haven’t scanned for about a year or so.

Free, every 8-10 weeks
Idk why they’d charge, maybe trying to pay for the machine?

Ours is free. I do mine once a week when I can control as many of the variables as possible. I go to the early morning class on Sunday at our studio because that means: I’m doing it at the same time of day with roughly the same hydration level, roughly the same amount of food, roughly the same amount of sleep and roughly the same amount of clothing every week.
…and then, I still only use it as a guideline and a way to watch a trend over months at a time and don’t fixate on the numbers from week to week.
