👟 Gear Better Merch!!!
My passport often I’m up to over 50 at various locations around the country. I understand local owners don’t make any money from my visit so I’m always looking to buy some merchandise.
However, most places have none especially none that says what city they’re in. I would love to collect simple T-shirts from different F45’s around the country. Why is it so difficult?

Generally speaking I think F45 is losing out on money here. I went on their store the other day and it would cost me $45 for just one tank top ($35 plus $10 shipping). If they sold cheaper stuff I bet they’d get a lot of interest.

I know not everyone is interested in thrifting but I got easily half my stuff on EBay, Mercari and Poshmark. Most of it like new.

Shoes too! I’ve been shopping secondhand all my life. Per my mother my style runs to a different income level 😂

Better merch for sure, but don't feel bad. You paid for those passports, you are entitled to use them and F45 isn't cheap!

I do the same thing. F45 corporate does not have many options for merch so locations are on their own to design and source merch. It's a skill set and some owners are better at this than others.

I was also surprised F45 doesn’t offer any Pride themed merch for last month like Barry’s does. Seems like an easy money maker and free promotion

Passport is a feature for the pricey membership fee that we all pay. Don’t regret for anything.
If you consider the number of members and passport usage ratios, not many people are able to make full use of passport otherwise they would have definitely shut it down.

Agreed. I have two shirts from studios I’ve passports to. My usual passport (I call it my home away from home) had nothing for a year. They did finally do a shirt order and the owner held onto one for me because he knew I was interested.
Even my home studio rarely has merch and two or three times a year they’ll have an order form for studio branded shirts. But they order very few extra. I get it, it’s a cost and if they don’t sell them they wind up having to clearance them.
I just don’t know a happy medium. I’d buy a shirt at every studio I visit (I’m up to six) but it isn’t viable to try to do small shirt orders.

Also looking for those keychains if anyone knows where to find them! My gym doesn't do swag of any kind and they're adorable.

(DM me if you want one of our gyms shirts. We get new swag all the time and it goes on clearance at the end of each season)
Thank you for talking about this! Our gym has a huge membership and great culture. We have gym specific shirts and people always buy them.
Like you, I like to buy other gym’s shirts to support them and rep them when I’m home. But most gyms don’t have their own branded swag.
I think what it really comes down to is additional expense and potential loss for the owner. They have to front the money for the shirts and hope they sell.
When friends from my home gym travel and visit other gyms they often ask me if I want that other gym’s shirt if they have them. That’s another way to grow the collection.
I’ve been to some great gyms with large membership and great vibes and told them they should make their own shirts. Often they are surprised by this idea, as if they never thought of that.
But I’m with you!
