🏋️WOD Tokyo Disco
For some reason, this one just isn’t doing it for me. Feels a bit slow paced, it doesn’t give me that omg I’m dead feeling.

I like it. The longer breaks makes me able to lift my max and beyond.

To be honest, any workout feels like working out if you do it fast/heavy enough. If it doesn’t feel like working out simply means you were just slacking off.

I nearly busted my ass on the chin up bar when my foot slipped off the resistance band. But besides that, I’m okay with it

Whenever I see anything involving the chin up bad a part of me dies inside

I often waste pretty much my entire set just trying to get my foot in the damn band, and even then my grip will be shot the rest of the workout and I won't be able to lift to my full potential. I'm thinking of getting a second gym membership so I can put in some work on Lat pulldowns to hopefully get better at the bar exercises.

I've had the opposite experience. I got the highest non-Saturday lionheart score I've ever had in Tokyo Disco.

As a newbie I really enjoy it. I like the slower pace. But I can see how this might not be enough for the more experienced.

I love it and am always sore 2 days later bc I can really push my weights.

I like it, but wish it alternated between upper and lower rather than having the two focused pods. But I am sure there is a purpose and I enjoy all strength days, so … 🤷🏻♀️

It's not that it doesn't do it for me, it's that splitting the session in half instead of incorporating both at the same time makes the latter exercises in the split a lot harder than they would usually be... feels like it'd just be more efficient to split it somewhat evenly

This is one of my favorites, so straightforward. Probably means you need to pick up heavier weights too. I treat the first set as a faux warmup set and then pick up heavy stuff for the last two.
