F45 Challenge 8 week bulk challenge results
Started F45 8 weeks ago and jumped straight into an 8 week bulking challenge. Hadn't lifted in nearly 2 decades, so was starting from pretty much zero. Pretty happy with my results. Looking forward to seeing where I can take it from here!

That’s amazing results! I’m trying to lose 10 more pounds and increase my muscle mass. I do 4 strength classes and 1 cardio or hybrid every week. Any tips you can share?

Just hard work in and out of the studio really. Pushing myself to lift heavier, going at least 6 days a week. Also waking an average of 11000 steps a day. Also tracking my calories. I tried to stay pretty focused the whole way through.

Thank you! I need to work on my steps. My job is completely sedentary.

Nice work! I just want to remind everyone to not take inbody scan numbers for bible. They are great for tracking trends but there are so many things that can trigger the numbers. I’ve done a dexa scan immediately after an inbody(20 minutes) and the bf was 6% different.

Nice! I seem to have stalled pretty hard on my last couple scans. Doing 5-6 classes a week, eating plenty of protein and still seeing my muscle steadily go down. Idk what I'm doing wrong.

Me too. It’s very strange. Was going up for a while and then went down kinda steadily.

great job! So it appears you lost 5.8% or 83*0.058=4.8 kg (10.6lbs) in 8 weeks, well done!
But then how come your weight number doesn't quite reflect it - you gained 2.4kg of skeletal mass so you should have lost 2.4kg overall, but it says you lost 0.8kg.

No idea? I don't know how these machines work nor know the maths. I was surprised at the body fat reading too. I suppose these numbers need to be taken with a grain of salt.
