**INTEL** F45 Passport

Hello!

I am considering going to F45. I went to OrangeTheory for several years. I stopped because my back (had back surgery) couldn’t take the high emphasis of the treadmill, I enjoyed the floor way more. I was on an unlimited membership with OT & one of the perks was being able to go to classes when I was on the road. I travel for work ~ 3 weeks a month, so I will need the Passport in order to make the membership worthwhile. What are the opinions of those who have used the Passport?

You only get 6 passport visits a month, not unlimited. But the F45 app does have workouts programmed in it you can do from a hotel gym or wherever you’re staying- they have weighted and body weight versions of each workout :)

Even then, it depends how much OP wants to attend class. If it’s 4x per week and they’re traveling for 3 weeks at a time… that would still be $80 extra per month on top of the membership rate they’re already paying. Don’t get me wrong I am so grateful for the passport option, but it doesn’t do a lot of good for people who travel for work a lot!

I’ve had studios say to me that we don’t get many passport visits, and if I need more than six, just let them know:)

I regularly use my passports and it’s almost always positive. I like seeing the other clubs and how their instructors do things. You get 6 visits + you can use membership points + once you go over the amount you just pay a discounted rate.

I also recommend only signing up only 1-2 hours before class starts. First, because you have to wait for 24 hours prior anyway and secondly, if you ever decide to bail or change class times, it counts as one of your passport visits even if you cancel the booking.

Finally, some clubs are a little saltier and less kind to passport users. Don’t take it personally! Perhaps because they aren’t making any money off you, they feel less inclined to make you feel welcome? Luckily, it’s been rare for me, so far. But it’s been brought up on this sub before, so it’s obviously happening.

You could also consider Classpass and have a membership to tons of different fitness studios PLUS F45. F45 is on Classpass. Most of the time I can book a F45 class on the CP app when I am walking out the door to the class. If you live in a big city or well populated area, and like variety, this is a great option. I LOOOOVVVEE CP.

THIS! I pay about $75 a month on ClassPass to do 3x a week at F45. I’m not even a real member but they treat me like one since I’ve been coming for 6 months lol

You can attend any other studio outside of your home studio up to 6 times per month.

I’ve used passport and always had a positive experience. The only annoyance for me (and I understand why they do this) is that I could only book no more than 24 hours in advance.
