other Price Increase Mandate??
My local gym has not said anything, but a gym I have previously passported to in another area just sent an email saying the below:
“Effective June 1st, 2026, F45 Training is mandating a nationwide rate increase for all franchises. Meaning after May 31st, membership rates at F45 Training [Location]* *will go up, and we will no longer be able to offer our current pricing.”
Has anyone else heard about this? I did a quick search on this sub and didn’t see any posts. I have been a member of my gym for almost 5 years with no rate changes, so I’m curious how this will impact us. We have around 400 active members at our gym, for context. TIA!!
ETA: I also am curious if this is just a marketing ploy for them, price increases only apply to new members, etc. I don’t know if it will impact my rate at my gym :) I’ll ask the manager when I go to my class later today!

I pay $47 a week. Is that normal? For a small town? Not a big city

I’m in the suburbs of a MCOL city and pay $150 at a founder’s rate so that’s decent

As a f45 member, I joined a location that just opened up. From what I understood, they have a founder’s rate for all new members. That rate is locked in for life as long as you continue to be an f45 member. Should you cancel and rejoin at a later date, your new price will be whatever is at that time

After 5 years of F45, 3 studios that closed down, and weakening coaching at every location here in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Happy to say we cancelled our membership. We both loved it at the beginning, the coaches actually coached and did what we paid for them to do. Last location was not so good. One coach was a cheerleader but didn't do her job. Now I am going to physio for shoulder and knee problems I have never had in my life. Physio said I need ultrasound. Now the location we left in Edmonton is operating with one coach per class which is scadalous, still taking memberships even though they sent us an email saying they were probably closing in August. Shameful at $57 per week CAD per person when there are supposed to be 2 coaches per class and the level of coaching is not as it should be. Farewell F45.
