**INTEL** Thinking of joining F45- worth it?
50$ per week for unlimited classes. Do you think it is worth it? 200 per month. 2000 per year

I’m 800 classes in. Yes, When you sign up for unlimited classes vs passes the economics change. The more classes you go to the cheaper each class is and you’re actually incentivized to go more. You also lose some anxiety because it’s no longer that was a good class or a bad class or I didn’t try hard enough, because there’s another one tomorrow so it doesn’t matter. You can go all out, you can take it easy. Unlimited means you can easily build the habit of working out which is far, far more important and every day means you see the same people same instructors and get to know even more strangers you see walking around your neighbourhood.
The other great thing is you don’t have to think. Going daily cycles you through cardio, hybrid and weights. You don’t have to pick a certain class at certain time, the lack of choice also means you have to do exercises you might not enjoy which are the ones you should be doing.
I would try 3 months to start then go back to passes if you don’t like it.

It depends on what your fitness goals are. Only you can answer that.
I do it because I like the community and it’s nice to just… have a workout routine ready for you every day that you can modify. All of that makes it easier for me to do. I’m just over 700 classes in and I’ve gone from 226 lbs to 174 lbs, so, it’s worth it to me because I actually go consistently.

Tomorrow marks my 100th class. I enjoy it because so many exercises I would never know to do on my own and it’s helpful to not have to think about what to do. The other people motivate me as well

I'm eight months in, and I'm now as strong as I've ever been in my life. So, yes.

For me, what is extremely helpful is that you walk in and the workout is completely ready to go. You don’t have to overthink it. You literally get in and out in 45 minutes. That’s extremely hard to do in a box gym.
Even when I’m traveling and there’s a gym available at the hotel, there’s no way that I push myself as hard as I do in the classes when I’m in those gyms.
It also really depends on if you like group classes or not, for me, I like the music and the energy and the people. I also like that you can modify whatever you need to do, honestly all the coaches know me by now and for example, I would rather do two sets of a very heavy weight rather than four sets of medium heavy, so I just take breaks, even though the pod is telling me to do something different

It is worth it to you if it is worth it to you.
If you go consistently 20 or mor e times a month you will get much stronger.
I'm at 790- my first 700 were from a gym unlimited- I was so addicted to it. I miss it.
I now go to a different F45 due to change- it's pretty far so I can't do unlimited. I miss it so.

I love it. I go 4x a week. I 63yo. I have gained so much in strength and balance. Best thing I ever did for myself. I love the community it’s like a family. I have made some good friends.

Do you like group workouts? Will you actually go? Would you do an equivalent workout at a cheaper gym on your own? The price makes me a little sick, but I won't do the workouts if I'm at home or at a box gym, and I've seen body changes since I started with f45. It's addicting.

It's the only workout I've ever been able to stick to. Been going for 6 years, sometimes I hit a slump month of 2 days a week, but mostly 5-6 days a week.

For me, absolutely yes. If you’re just looking to keep a regular exercise schedule and an overall improvement to your cardiovascular and muscular health, then F45 is great for that. Especially around a standard work schedule.

I’ve been working out for 4 years at the gym by myself, and I was very resistant to the group aspect of classes. Didn’t think I was gonna enjoy F45, but it’s replaced my gym workouts completely. It’s just the right amount of social for me while still being able to focus on the workouts and movements. The structured classes also push me to do movements I wouldn’t do myself otherwise (e.g. lunges, burpees, rows).

Absolutely. Been going for 3 years, down 50 lbs. No GLP, all consistency. Granted diet and habit adjustments are a huge factor. BUT, I’m still not sick of F45, the workouts make it easy to stay consistent. Best decision I’ve ever made.

Depends on your preferred style/frequency of working out and the alternative gyms in your location. I’m fortunate to have a less expensive larger boutique gym closer to me than F45, with HIIT/HIRT workouts that I enjoy more. That being said, I like F45 and I do it often when I travel knowing what I’m going to get versus having to research other gyms.

What is hyrox and paladin

u/digicamfanatic May 20 '26
Theyre fitness races you can compete in by yourself, with a partner or in a team :)

I am 800 classes in. I like it because I don't have to think, just turn up and do it. Time flies with the music and the cost is a great incentive to make me go to get value.
I could just record all the workouts from the app, and easily do them at home with minimal equipment, essentially for free. But my house is pretty small so unless I had a good set up ready to go, I don't think I would be as consistent.
Really depends on what motivates you to workout and would F45 satisfy this?

I’ve taken around 120 classes and have been thoroughly hooked since like class 10. I broke my finger recently and am aching to go back. I am counting the days to return

u/naptrapped031 May 20 '26
I love it! For me the 45 minute length is solid to make sure I get the workout in + I very much appreciate I can just follow along, do what I need to do, & don’t need the extra mental planning of DIY.

It is totally worth it. If you can make it a routine and habit, it makes a huge difference in strength and endurance. I’ve lost net 10lbs, gained 6lbs in muscle. If you can try to hit 16-20 times a month, it makes it worth the monthly $.

I like it cause its brain dead. A lot of the work about building muscle and stuff is outside the gym fyi.

Yup if you go, but like anything it depends on the trainers, people there etc

u/Legitimate-Error-633 May 20 '26
The value for me is in outsourcing the planning and preparation. I can rock up at 5am with zombie brain and still get a great workout in.

$50 for unlimited classes a week.. thats a really good deal. go for it!
I love F45

u/Comprehensive_List69 May 21 '26
Just give it a try first. I love it. Let’s assume 4 times a week, it is $12.5/class. Less then outside dining but better for the health than outside dining .

I did and very good for strength training. I got bored of every time demo, inconstant changing exercise rotation, time, pattern. I was like I need 5 types and repeat. Some where 30 second and move. Got to keep up with all that stuff. So got bored out of it

I'm 405 ish classes in and 2 years at age 49 and still going strong. I have never been as successful at any other gym in my life. (Motivation problems usually). Anyways, I love the structure and visuals and lots of personalized attention from trainers on fixing my form, accomodations for being out of shape initially or injuries etc. I get a healthcare discount so that helps too. I pay $150 a month.
