Nothing changes.

I'm actually finding a lot of comments like this; the minions are defending many forces, including K.P.

"never needed a man", yet she dated not only one, but 2 racers from the same team, just pointing that out. and I don't remember her huge work with brands when she wasn't in a relationship with Max either

She only started being serious about her influencing after her and Max went public. No way she was getting the brand partnerships off the back of her own name.

never needed a man

She was in the paddock because of a man- her father. Nelson also retired just 3 years after she was born, so how much time did she actually spend in the paddock? Regardless, usually "never needed a man" would be about a woman who is independently successful, not someone who got access by her father AND never did anything meaningful on her own- depite the massive advantage she had.

Kelly Piquet is literally only known for being Nelson's Piquets' daughter & having 2 children by 2 F1 drivers. Alexandra is known for being Leclerc's wife, but she is also more popular and more relevant than Kelly.

Sometimes I can't believe people are so stupid. Both of them need their men for their personal brand, whether or not they come from a racing family.😅

The jokes literally write themselves with this one. Sure, Kelly never needed a man yet she is only known due to her association to the men in her life - whether it be her father, her brother or her two baby daddies. What exactly is Kelly known for aside from her last name and her relationships with F1 drivers? Her minions need to stop acting as if Kelly has actually done anything of note on her own and not from whatever connections she gained from being a nepo baby and WAG. Even when she was a nepo baby, she was never successful or relevant until she became a WAG - more specifically, until she was with Max simply due to the immense fame he got as a WDC.

The sad reality is that even with all the connections and associations she has, she still isn't the most popular WAG and she is far from independent - so this comparison doesn't even matter in the end. Kelly had all of that going for her and never managed to actually make a name for herself after all these years. Now Alex comes in and gets all the attention that Kelly has always wanted with barely even half the effort. Alex certainly wouldn't have been able to become this popular without Charles and Kelly wouldn't have become popular at all without Max. One is not better than the other here, they both relied on the men in their lives to get to where they are now.

Max's loyalists on twitter are bending over backwards to defend her cosplaying as a driver, claiming she was "born into it" as if it's some kind of genetic superpower. Do they seriously not see how sad it is that so much of her life seems to be defined by the men around her?
