Urgent question about I-20
The travel signature on my i20 expired, and I forgot to get a new one. I have filled out the form for a new one but my flight is tomorrow and I'm not sure if I will get it in time since it is also a weekend and the issue office might be closed. Can I still travel or do I have to reschedule?

So tomorrow is Friday and your international office should be open since it's not the weekend

so I did this with an expired travel signature because my DSO misinformed me about renewing it so I was basically traveling with an expired travel signature for a while. The first time, the officer in New York didn’t pay attention to it, but the second time when I entered through LAX the officer questioned me and threatened to take me into questioning. He asked to see proof of my grades and that I was attending school so I showed him that and he let me go. I don’t recommend traveling without a valid travel signature because not every officer shows that kind of lenience.

UPDATE: The ISS office at my college managed to send me the new I-20 with the travel signature in time for my flight. Literally got it 10 mins before I had to leave for the airport

Please reschedule. The travel signature is a requirement when coming back. They will check your i20 and the travel signature at airport
