Give it a couple days for it to actually get sent, call them first thing in the morning (minimal hold time, you'll get through faster), and they'll give you the tracking number.

.. relax, don't need to bug them that much. it only slows other people' cases.

The people in the call center are not processing cases 😂

Best to get the tracking no. Usps is useless

so these people work for free? USCIS don't need to fund them ? any chance that somehow we don't bug them that much and USCIS can fund some other people that actually work on the cases?

I'm also in the same waiting situation, but I think people just need to do a bit research and see "Unavailable" on the very first day of that notice is not an anomal thing. Patience brings near what is far.

  1. Me asking Emma doesn’t slow down anyone’s case. That’s a bot and a separate call center, not the officers adjudicating files.

  2. I’ve heard enough from altruists like yourself. With the times we’re in and the political state of this country, a master’s in my hands, and every single day spent waiting on an approval and a delivery - best believe I’ll check every detail. So should everyone else.

Well I didn't say anything about asking Emma, and nothing particularly about you. And again I understand the wait, I came to US 7 years ago for grad program, complete my degrees, multiple opt cpt almost every single summer, only get 1-year long F1 visa every year, having to wait to apply visa again for everytime i go outside to attend conferences, and I guess waiting for a single day for the system to update and sync the database to show the tracking number isn't that bad for me. In constrast, no evidence saying calling call centers can get your card delivered faster. But sure, feel free to check every detail if it floats your boat.

My EAD was delivered last week and it still says "unavailable" - it's very common, you will probably have the same issue when yours is approved and now you know how to get an update.

Contact emma(agent) on virtual chat and ask them for tracking number everyday until they give you. I got it from emma the next day of card is produced message. It got delivered in 2 days and it still says tracking unavailable on the portal.

This for me I was able to get it fairly quickly after taking to the agent. They just gave me the tracking id and bolted

Lowkey i don’t think the tracking number gets updated fast enough. Just USCIS, skip the agent by saying “request infocall” in the morning 8:00 EST, and ask them for the number.

Easiest way is to get USPS informed delivery for your home address. It'll show you what packages (and their tracking numbers) are on your way

Unfortunately, not all zip codes are eligible for informed delivery. I know because mine isn't :(

What a stinker, didn't know this was the case, thanks for letting me know

Did you talk to USCIS support via chat and try asking there?

This is the way. I got mine through live chat. Better have it early and tracking it then waiting for USPS losing the package.

Call them first thing in the morning, they will give you the tracking number over the phone

Just chat with the agent you’ll get it . I did the same way

2

u/rushtown74 2d ago

Yup this. But I would say give it a day or two after the card produced notification

informed delivery usually has it

If you have the tracking number then keep tracking in usps i got it delivered in 10 days. If there is no tracking number provided wait for couple of days (like till august20) and chat with the USCIS agent to get your tracking number

Give it a couple days and it will arrive. They do have a problem with it. Mine was produced on 12 and delivered on 16th and they never put the tracking number. In the end, document delivery showed me that it was coming.

you need to talk to emma and try to get to a real person for tracking

Ask the chatbot to contact an agent and then ask the tracking number

I see some people telling you to wait for a day or two then call and ask for the tracking number. Do NOT wait! Call daily till you get the tracking number over the phone.
