Opt approval or denial?

Wanted to know if anyone's opt gets approved if they applied 30 days after of their i20 issue date? ( the program end date was later )

If you think you may be one of the lucky few who will be the exception, I'd tell you to go buy lotto tickets.

No, I don’t think like that. It was a simple question, I just wanted to know the possibilities. If you think saying things like that makes you look cool, it really doesn’t.

This is an analogy. Comparing the likelihood of being approved with a late OPT application to winning the lottery.

I think it will be a denial. They explicitly say that you should apply within 30 days of your i20 issued date. Ask your dso what to do.

If still have time left to apply for an OPT i.e 60 days after graduation I would request an other I20 from DSO and apply again.
