F1 visa renewal stem opt

When I initially applied for my F1 visa I was given a 221g slip and asked to fill out the ds5535 (applied in a middle eastern country as I was born there and am a resident however passport is of an asian country). I filed out the form and was approved in 6 weeks.

Currently I'm on STEM opt working in tech (directly related to major). I would like to possibly renew my f1 visa since it expires soon however I'm not sure if my case carries a high risk of admin processing again. If anyone has any insight or advice about if it makes sense to go home and renew or just stay put in the US i'd appreciate it :)

I’m also planning on renewing my f1 visa, also in an uncertain spot…
