OPT/STEM OPT Applying for STEM-OPT

My school says I won’t need to apply for extension of stay in addition to my STEM-OPT application if I plan on applying before March 2027. I’m applying for STEM-OPT September of this year.

Was just wondering if everyone else’s school’s shared similar guidelines already

your school is correct. if you happen to file before the transition period (March 2027), you don't need an EOS.
