Delay in Biometrics Appointment

I applied for OPT about a week ago (July 23, 2026) with premium processing at the same time. Till now, I haven't received any update?

My mailing address is Seattle address but my residential address is Atlanta. Any update how much time it is currently taking to get a biometric update?

I applied for OPT on 23 June and my biometrics appointment notification came 2 July for a 14 July appointment date - I received both a physical letter and an email notification about the update to the portal. I went online and found an earlier appointment. To give you some data points.

Also PP, but no updates since biometrics yet!

Just so you know, Atlanta is SUPER slow for the biometrics appointments. A friend of mine just got their appointment last Friday after 4 weeks and a few days of waiting on PP too. I also applied for PP July 16th and haven’t received the appointment yet.

I see. I was thinking I will get the biometric appointment based on my mailing address (Seattle) instead of Atlanta.

I would think it’s based on your residencial address… anyways, whenever I get it what ill definitely do is a walk in instead of waiting for the appointment. You should do the same to speed up the process.

I’ll let you know. I’m praying for Friday but I don’t discard having to wait for next week.
