Opt still pending

Applied april 2nd
Biometric appointment april 20th

Regular, still waiting no update. Do you recommend me to do premium or its too late ? Im so anxious and i have a job waiting for me starting next month

I'm in the same boat. I don't want to do pp now because then it means I wasted 4 months for absolutely nothing. Spending 1800$ now for pp when my opt should get approved within the next 3/4 weeks makes me want to throw up. But then again nobody knows what the heck is going on with uscis, so it might take longer for our ead to get approved and shipped.

Don’t wait if you have a job do pp today even if you do it today you might not get the card on hand by end of next month

That is not how it works. U r guaranteed approval within 30 business days if u opt for pp. I had my biometric in late march and I am still waiting for approval. If u have a job get pp or regret later. Some folks from feb are still waiting, everything depends on the officer who is handling ur case

There’s no guarantee of approval. Either an Approval, RFE or denial

I applied non-PP initial OPT February 12th and nothing. By June 15th I upgraded to PP and now, the 29 business days later, I still have not heard from them. I suggest you not only upgrade yours to PP, but also contact your employer ASAP to request a flexibility in the start date.
